The C2000™ 32-bit microcontrollers are optimised for processing, sensing and driving to improve closed-loop performance in real-time control applications such as industrial motor drives, photovoltaic inverters and digital power supplies, electric vehicles and transportation, motor control, as well as sensing and signal processing.The C2000 family consists of both advanced performance MCUs and entry-level performance MCUs.
The F2802x microcontroller family offers the power of the C28xx core combined with highly integrated control peripherals in a low pin count device. The code of this family of devices is compatible with legacy C28x-based code, while offering a high level of analogue integration.
The internal voltage regulator enables single-supply-rail operation, and the HRPWM module has been enhanced to enable dual-edge control (FM). An analogue comparator with a 10-bit internal reference has been added for direct routing to control the PWM outputs, and the ADC converts over a fixed full-scale range of 0V to 3.3V, supporting proportional operations with the VREFHI/VREFLO reference. the ADC interface has been optimised for low overhead and latency.
