LTC1590CN Integrated Circuit Chip 12-Bit Multiplying DACs PDIP-16 Digital To Analog Converters

The LTC1590CN is a dual serial 12-bit multiplying digital to analog converter in a 16-pin narrow PDIP. Two current output DACs share one 3-wire serial port, and each channel keeps DNL and INL within plus or minus 0.5 LSB over temperature.

Gain error is held to plus or minus 1 LSB maximum, and supply current is only 10 microamps maximum, so both channels can stay powered in battery-backed or loop-powered instruments. Four-quadrant multiplication lets each reference swing in both directions.

A daisy-chain serial output allows a second LTC1590CN or other serial devices to share the same three lines, and power-on reset plus the asynchronous clear input define the output at startup.

The LTC1590CN is available in 16-pin narrow SO and PDIP packages, so the same die serves surface mount and through-hole builds. Both channels are matched, which keeps dual gain and offset trims tracking over temperature.

The LTC1590CN is RoHS compliant and lead free, and every order ships with full traceability. Samples and volume pricing are available on request.
