Isolated Analog and ADCs
Isolated Analog and ADCs family of devices are designed to provide accurate isolated current and voltage measurement with very low drift across temperature. Based on Skyworks’ robust, third-generation isolation technology, the new family provides flexible voltage, current, output and package options to help developers reduce BOM cost and shrink board space for a wide range of industrial and green-energy applications including electric vehicle (EV) battery management and charging systems, dc-dc converters, and motor, solar and wind turbine inverters. The Si892x provides isolated current measurement with analog output, the Si893x provides isolated voltage measurement with both analog and DSM options, and the Si894x provides isolated current sensing with DSM output.

Isolated FET Drivers
Isolated FET Drivers offer a simple way to replace solid-state relays (SSRs) or electromechanical relays (EMRs). Si875x devices combine robust CMOS isolation technology with a FET driver to form a complete, isolated switch. Versatile input options provide either digital CMOS pin control (Si8751) or diode emulation (Si8752) to best fit the application. Flexible outputs support driving AC or DC load configurations, and the self-contained device generates its own gate drive output voltage, reducing cost, size, and complexity. Si875x devices eliminate the need for bulky mechanical relays and allow self-selection for FET switches, so the design can be completely optimized for the application’s power, cost, and performance requirements. Unlike traditional SSRs, which integrate optocoupler-style LED inputs and limit the operating temperature range of the solution, Si875x drivers can support full industrial and automotive temperature ranges with increased stability and longer lifetime.

Isolated Transceivers
The Si858x products combine robust fully compliant Rs-485 transceivers with Skyworks' Proprietary CMOS isolation technology. These devices are ideal for industrial applications that require isolated interfaces with a FieldBus system such as ProfiBus or ModBus, based on an RS-485 physical layer. The integrated isolation provides protection from high voltages and transient noise that could damage sensitive electronic components or corrupt signal integrity.
