The
LTC7810ELXE is a high-performance, dual-channel step-down DC/DC switching regulator controller that drives all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages and operates at input voltages up to 140 V, with an absolute maximum input voltage of 150 V. It adopts a constant-frequency current-mode architecture and supports phase-locking frequencies up to 720 kHz, which makes it suitable for a variety of high-efficiency power management systems.

 

LTC7810ELXE Features
Wide input voltage range: 4.5V to 140V, with an absolute maximum of 150V, designed for operation with high input voltages or inputs with high voltage surges, eliminating the need for additional external surge suppression devices.
Low quiescent current: The LTC7810ELXE has an IQ as low as about 40μA with one channel on in differential voltage mode.
Wide Output Voltage Range: The LTC7810ELXE has a programmable output voltage range of 1V to 60V, which meets the different output voltage requirements of various application scenarios.
Adjustable Gate Drive Level: The LTC7810ELXE is adjustable up to 10V and can use logic level or standard threshold MOSFETs to maximise efficiency.
Multiple operating modes: The LTC7810ELXE features selectable spread spectrum operation to effectively reduce EMI, as well as selectable continuous, pulse-hopping, or low ripple burst operating modes, which can be flexibly selected according to the actual application requirements to achieve a balance of high efficiency and low ripple under light loads.
Powerful Gate Driver Capability: The LTC7810ELXE's powerful 1Ω N-channel MOSFET gate driver can be set to 6V, 8V, or 10V, which can be adapted to different MOSFET device requirements and improve system.
Heterodyne Controller Design: The heterodyne controller reduces the required input capacitance and power supply-induced noise, helping to reduce the number and size of external components while improving the system's immunity to interference.
Phase-lockable Frequency: The LTC7810ELXE has a frequency range of 75kHz to 720kHz, with a programmable fixed frequency from 50kHz to 750kHz, making it easy for users to configure the frequency according to their specific needs in order to optimise system performance.
Multiple Protection and Functionality Features: The LTC7810ELXE features programmable input overvoltage blocking to protect the system from overvoltage damage, and on-board LDOs or external NMOS LDOs for DRVCC, and EXTVCC LDOs that can be used to power the driver from the VOUT, further optimising the power management scheme.
