The ATSAMA5D28C-D1G-CUR is a high-performance, low-power Arm Cortex-A5 CPU-based embedded microprocessor (MPU) running up to 500 MHz, with 1Gbit DDR2 memory. The device integrates powerful peripherals for connectivity and user interface applications, and offers advanced security functions (Arm TrustZone® , tamper detection, secure data storage, secure boot, etc.), as well as high-performance crypto accelerators AES, SHA and TRNG. The SAMA5D28C-D1G comes with PCI 5.0 pre-certification.

The ATSAMA5D28C-D1G-CUR System-In-Package (SIP) integrates the Arm® Cortex®-A5 processor-based SAMA5D2 MPU with up to 1 Gbit DDR2-SDRAM or up to 2Gbit LPDDR2-SDRAM in a single package. By combining the high-performance, ultra-low power SAMA5D2 with LPDDR2/DDR2-SDRAM in a single package, PCB routing complexity, area and number of layers is reduced in the majority of cases.
