Device Description Of TLE8457CSJ:

The TLE8457CSJ is a monolithic integrated LIN transceiver with low dropout regulator in TSON-8 package.

The device provides a stable 5 V supply and up to 70 mA for microcontrollers and peripherals. It is protected by a VCC undervoltage reset and also provides bi-directional bus communication in accordance with the LIN specification 2.2A and SAE J2602. The TLE8457CSJ's ultra-low quiescent current consumption (20 μA typical in standby mode) is particularly suited to applications that are permanently powered by batteries.

Based on Infineon's BiCMOS technology, the TLE8457CSJ offers excellent ESD robustness and very high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).The TLE8457CSJ is AEC certified to withstand the harsh conditions of the automotive environment.
