Description Of BQ25601RTWR

The BQ25601RTWR is a highly integrated 3A switch mode battery charge management and system power path management device. Each device is designed for use with single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer batteries. The low impedance power path optimises switch mode operation efficiency, reduces battery charge time and extends battery life during the discharge phase. An I2C serial interface with charging and system setup functions makes this device a truly flexible solution.

 

The BQ25601RTWR features high input voltage fast charging for a wide range of smartphones, tablets and portable devices. Input voltage and current regulation provide maximum charging power to the battery. These devices are highly integrated with input reverse blocking FETs and high-side switching FETs. The solution also includes a low-side switching FET and a battery FET between the system and the battery. the device integrates a bootstrap diode for the high-side gate driver to simplify system design.
