The CC2640R2F-Q1 is a cost-effective 2.4GHz RF device in the ultra-low-power family. Extremely low active RF and MCU currents, as well as low-power mode current consumption, ensure excellent battery life, enabling nodes connected to automotive batteries to be powered by a small coin cell with low power consumption. Excellent receive sensitivity and programmable output power provide the industry's top RF performance needed for demanding automotive RF environments.
The CC2640R2F-Q1 wireless MCU includes a 32-bit ARMCortex-M3 processor running at 48MHz as the main application processor, and an RF core, the ARMCortex-M0.
The CC2640R2F's main MCU efficiently handles RTOS and BLE applications. The RF core mainly performs RF operation and BLE protocol stack processing.BLE product development is usually done on the APP, so there is no need to worry about the operation on the BLE protocol stack.
The CC2640R2F-Q1 is AEC-Q100 certified to Class 2 temperature range (-40°C to +105°C), where Q1 stands for AEC-Q100, the automotive grade standard for active device components.
The CC2640R2F-Q1 is available in a 7mm × 7mm VQFN package with wettable sides. Wettable sides help reduce production line costs and improve reliability by optically inspecting solder joints.
