LAUNCHXL2-TMS57012 Overview
The Hercules™ TMS570LS12 LaunchPad™ Development Kit is an affordable evaluation platform designed to accelerate assessment and development on the Hercules microcontroller platform. This LaunchPad kit is based on the TMS570LS1224, certified to IEC 61508 SIL 3 and ISO 26262 ASIL D. an ARM® Cortex®-R4F-based lockstep MCU with integrated safety features and peripherals such as two 12-bit ADCs, a programmable high-end timer, motor control peripherals (eQEP, eCAP, ePWM), USB, Ethernet, MibSPI, and serial communication interfaces. The Hercules TMS570 MCU helps reduce development effort for ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 functional safety applications.
This LaunchPad features on-board emulation for programming and debugging, buttons, LEDs, an ambient light sensor, and two standard 40-pin BoosterPack expansion connectors (supplied with one expansion header). It supports adding functionality like displays and wireless sensors through various plug-in BoosterPack modules.
This LaunchPad includes pre-programmed demonstration code, enabling users to easily explore key safety, data acquisition, and control features of the Hercules MCU platform.
