Description Of MP6501AGF

The MP6501AGF is a stepper motor driver with a built-in microstepping converter. It operates from a supply voltage of up to 35V and provides motor currents of up to 2.5A. The MP6501A can operate bipolar stepper motors in full-step, half-step, quarter-step, and one-eighth-step modes. Internal safety features include overcurrent protection, input overvoltage protection, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown. The device has a fixed 3.3V reference output, so it does not require any control power to operate and can be used with any microcontroller. The amplitude of the switch is as low as 220mΩ, and current sensing is performed by an external resistor.

The MP6501AGF is available in a space-saving TSSOP-28 package with an exposed thermal pad.
