Introducing
Diodes' PI2EQX5904NJEX is a low-power PCIe® compliant signal re-driver. The device provides programmable equalisation, amplification and de-emphasis using eight select bits to optimise performance across a wide range of physical media by reducing inter-symbol interference.
The PI2EQX5904NJEX supports eight 100-ohm differential CML data I/Os between protocol ASICs and switch fabrics, backplanes, or to extend signals to other remote data channels on the user's platform. the PI2EQX5904 compensates for signal insertion loss based on a specified bit error rate from PCIe2.0 endpoint devices.
Integrated equalisation circuitry provides flexibility in handling the integrity of the PCIe signal before the ReDriver, while integrated de-emphasis circuitry provides flexibility in handling the integrity of the signal after the ReDriver.
In addition to providing signal reconditioning, Diodes' PI2EQX5904 provides power management.
The target markets for this ReDriver are networking, embedded, industrial, server and storage applications, including non-protocol specific and high-speed signaling applications.
