Device Description

The AMC1306M05DWVR is a Δ-sigma modulator that isolates the output and input circuits by means of a capacitive dual isolation barrier. The barrier has high magnetic field immunity. The barrier is certified to provide enhanced isolation up to 8000 VPEAK in accordance with DIN V VDE V 0884-10 and UL1577. When used with an isolated power supply, the isolation modulator isolates system components operating at different common mode voltage levels. The device also protects low-voltage components from damage, and the inputs of the AMC1306 are optimised for direct connection to shunt resistors or other low-voltage level sources. The ±50mV device's unique low input voltage range allows for significant reductions in power consumption through shunts. The device also offers excellent AC and DC performance.
