Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics Co., Ltd. introduces the Infineon Motor Control TLE9873QXW40 3-phase bridge driver IC with integrated Arm® Cortex® M3, providing high reliability and extended lifetime for pumps and fans.
Description of TLE9873QXW40
The TLE9873QXW40 is a single-chip 3-phase motor driver with an integrated industry-standard Arm® Cortex®-M3 core that enables advanced motor control algorithms such as field-oriented control. It includes six fully integrated NFET drivers optimised to drive 3-phase motors with six external power NFETs, a charge pump for low-voltage operation and programmable currents, and current ramp control to optimise EMC. The peripheral set includes a current sensor, a successive approximation ADC synchronised with the capture and compare unit for PWM control, and a 16-bit timer. In addition, a LIN transceiver and multiple general-purpose input/output interfaces are integrated for communication with devices. It includes an on-chip linear regulator to power external loads.
It is a highly integrated AEC-Q100 Class 0 automotive qualified device that provides a low-cost, space-saving solution for under-the-hood mechatronic BLDC motor drive applications such as engine cooling fans, water pumps, and oil pumps.
