The Infineon SAL-TC364DP-64F300F AA is a high-performance 32-bit dual-core microcontroller from Infineon’s second-generation AURIX™ TC3xx series. Designed specifically for automotive ASIL-D safety-critical applications and industrial high-reliability control, it combines multi-core processing power, a safety-critical architecture and extensive in-vehicle communication capabilities, making it a core control chip for new energy vehicles and industrial automation.

 

I. Core Architecture and Performance of the SAL-TC364DP-64F300F AA

Dual-core TriCore™ architecture: Equipped with two 32-bit TriCore™ CPUs operating at 300 MHz, supporting floating-point operations (FPU) and DSP (digital signal processing). Single-core performance reaches 1.7–2.4 DMIPS/MHz, whilst dual-core collaboration enables efficient processing of complex control algorithms.

Safety Lockstep Mode: Supports dual-core lockstep redundancy. Through hardware-level synchronisation verification, it meets the highest functional safety levels of ISO 26262 ASIL-D and IEC 61508 SIL-3.

Low-Power Design: Operating power consumption is less than 2W. Supports multiple low-power modes, suitable for automotive and industrial low-power requirements.
