The RA8P1 series is Renesas Electronics' first 32-bit AI-accelerated microcontroller (MCU) featuring a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M85 (CM85) and Helium™ vector extension, and integrating an Ethos™-U55 NPU. This series delivers 256 GOPS* of AI performance, over 7,300 CoreMarks of breakthrough CPU performance, and advanced AI capabilities, enabling support for voice, vision, and real-time analysis AI scenarios. The RA8P1 MCU is manufactured using advanced 22nm ULL process technology and is available in single-core and dual-core configurations, with the dual-core MCU integrating a Cortex-M33 core.
