Mingjiada Electronics Supply ST Teseo Series GNSS ICs And Modules, Supply Satellite Navigation Chips
Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics Co., Ltd. – a long-standing supplier of STMicroelectronics (ST) satellite navigation chips and related solutions, including the Teseo III series of GNSS devices and the Teseo VI series of GNSS products. These solutions cover the entire application chain, from satellite-borne equipment to ground terminals, providing robust support for customers’ precise positioning requirements.
ST’ Teseo series of standalone GNSS ICs and modules provide high-precision positioning capabilities for a wide range of applications. These solutions offer exceptional cost competitiveness and can be easily integrated into and adapted for existing product designs, including trackers, telematics, portable devices, tablets, marine equipment and sports accessories.
1. Classic and Mainstream Series: STA8100 / STA8090 / Teseo III
These two chips are classic offerings in ST’s GNSS product line, widely used in scenarios with strict power consumption and size constraints.
Multi-mode support: Supports joint positioning across multiple systems including GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS. By fusing signals from multiple constellations, positioning availability and accuracy are significantly enhanced in complex environments.
High precision: Combined with ST’s signal processing technology, these chips achieve centimetre-level positioning accuracy (when paired with algorithms) and nanosecond-level timing accuracy, making them ideally suited for applications such as autonomous driving, precision agriculture and wearable devices.
Teseo III Series: As a single-chip standalone positioning receiver with embedded Flash memory, it supports data logging and firmware upgrades. Its modular products (such as the Teseo-LIV3FL) feature a tracking sensitivity of -163 dBm and measure just 9.7 x 10.1 mm, making them ideal for applications such as insurance tracking, asset management and drones.
2. Sixth-Generation Flagship Series: Teseo VI (STA8600A/STA8610A/STA9200MA)
Teseo VI represents ST’s latest technological achievements in the field of satellite navigation and is currently the core product for intelligent driving and high-end industrial positioning.
Quad-frequency, six-constellation support: This is the most distinctive feature of the Teseo VI. It supports multiple frequency bands including L1, L2, L5 and E6, and is fully compatible with the six major satellite constellations: GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS and NAVIC. Its multi-frequency reception capability enables it to effectively eliminate ionospheric interference and achieve centimetre-level high-precision positioning.
Advanced Process and Architecture: Manufactured using a 28nm FD-SOI (Fully Depleted Silicon-on-Insulator) process, it offers inherent radiation resistance, making it suitable for harsh environments. The chip integrates a dual-core Arm Cortex-M7 processor, allowing the ST positioning algorithm to run on one core whilst the customer’s proprietary algorithms (such as RTK/PPP) run on the other, providing open-platform-level flexibility.
Functional Safety and Information Security: Designed for Level 3 and above autonomous driving, the STA9200MA model complies with the ISO 26262 ASIL-B functional safety standard. Additionally, the chip integrates a Hardware Security Module (HSM), supporting secure boot and anti-interference/anti-spoofing mechanisms to ensure the authenticity and integrity of positioning data.
Future-Ready: The Teseo VI series also specifically supports signal reception from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations, laying the groundwork for the future 6G era of ‘integrated communication and navigation’.
As a professional chip supplier, Mingjiada Electronics does not limit itself to providing individual components, but is committed to building a complete supply chain service for its customers:
One-stop procurement: In addition to ST’s GNSS navigation chips, Mingjiada also supplies Qorvo’s beamformers (such as the AWMF series), high-power MMICs, STM32 series microcontrollers, and various RF front-end chips, meeting the full material requirements for satellite communication and navigation terminals.
Guaranteed stock availability: The company maintains a stock of over 2 million electronic components, covering both mainstream and niche models, supporting small-batch sample procurement and large-volume production orders. Leveraging logistics networks in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, we ensure rapid delivery.
