The ADM2863E incorporates an isolated DC-DC converter that supplies power to the isolated side of the EVAL-ADM2863EEBZ evaluation kit without requiring additional ICs.
The EVAL-ADM2863EEBZ incorporates an ADP7104 low-dropout (LDO) regulator that accepts input voltages from 3.3 V to 20 V and regulates them to either 3.3 V or 5 V, supplying the ADM2863E's VCC pin.
Screw-type terminal blocks on the EVAL-ADM2863EEBZ evaluation board connect to the ADM2863E's flexible VIO logic power supply pins. This connection enables the ADM2863E to operate with digital input/output (I/O) voltages ranging from 1.7 V to 5.5 V, facilitating communication with nodes using 1.8 V or 2.5 V power supplies.
