EV-ADES1830CCSZ Evaluation Board Product Description
The EV-ADES1830CCSZ is a fully functional 16-channel battery stack monitoring evaluation board from Analog Devices (ADI). Featuring the ADES1830 multi-battery stack monitor chip, it precisely measures up to 16 series-connected battery cells, achieving an ultra-low total measurement error (TME) of ±1.8mV across the entire -40°C to +105°C temperature range. Supporting multi-board daisy-chain connections via a 2-wire isolated serial interface (isoSPI®), this evaluation board offers flexible scalability for monitoring high-voltage battery packs with hundreds of cells, making it an ideal platform for energy storage system BMS development.
Key Technical Features
High-Precision Synchronous Measurement: Incorporates two independent 4.096MHz ADCs for simultaneous redundant measurement of all cell voltages. Enables aliasing-free sampling without external filtering, with programmable IIR filters further enhancing signal-to-noise ratio.
isoSPI Isolated Communication: Integrated 2Mbps isoSPI interface supports capacitive or transformer coupling, with single-segment communication distances up to 20 meters. Features bidirectional open-circuit protection for highly reliable communication links.
