IRS2877C — Consumer-grade 3D ToF sensor with HVGA resolution
The IRS2877C is a 3D ToF image sensor designed for the consumer and industrial markets. Utilising iToF technology and a unique pixel layout, it supports an HVGA (640×480) system resolution and can be efficiently upgraded to VGA depth map output, offering an excellent balance between depth performance and power consumption. Utilising fifth-generation 5μm pixel technology and compatible with a 940nm VCSEL light source, it operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. When paired with the IRS9100C/IRS9102C VCSEL drivers, it offers a cost-effective solution for 3D depth sensing in consumer electronics and industrial control applications.
IRS2877A / IRS2877AS — Automotive-grade VGA resolution 3D ToF sensors
The IRS2877A is the automotive-grade flagship product in the REAL3™ series, tailored specifically for automotive interior and exterior sensing applications. Certified to AEC-Q100 Grade 2, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, it features VGA system resolution (640×480 pixels) based on an innovative 640×240 dual-pixel array layout, delivering high-performance VGA system resolution within a compact 4mm field of view. The IRS2877AS further complies with the ISO 26262 ASIL-B functional safety standard and integrates eye safety features, making it an ideal choice for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and In-Car Monitoring Systems (ICMS).
IRS2975C — Compact, High-Sensitivity HQVGA ToF Sensor
The IRS2975C utilises sixth-generation 10μm high-sensitivity pixel technology and is supplied in die form. It offers HQVGA (240×180, 43.2K pixels) resolution and a 1/6-inch (3mm) image circle design, with a chip area of just 18mm². The pixels integrate embedded optical reflectors and SBI technology, operate on a single 2.8V power supply, deliver stable imaging in strong sunlight, and are compatible with ultra-compact lenses.
IRS2976C — VGA High-Sensitivity, High-Performance ToF Sensor
As a high-performance model in the series, the IRS2976C also utilises sixth-generation 10μm pixel technology, offering VGA (640×480) resolution, a 1/4-inch (4mm) image circle, and a chip area of 23mm². With a quantum efficiency exceeding 30%, it supports a ranging distance of over 10 metres and features comprehensive laser safety functions and eye protection mechanisms. This sensor is the world’s first ToF sensor to achieve Google’s Level 3 facial recognition certification, supporting seamless operation beneath the display without requiring additional space, thereby significantly enhancing the design flexibility of end devices.
IRS2771C — Fourth-generation HVGA resolution ToF sensor
The IRS2771C is the fourth-generation REAL3™ image sensor launched by Infineon at MWC 2019. It utilises the HVGA standard resolution, delivering 150k (448×336) pixels, which is four times the resolution of most ToF solutions available on the market at the time. With a chip area of just 4.6mm × 5mm, it is highly sensitive to 940nm infrared light and offers excellent outdoor performance.
IRS2381C — 38K-pixel mobile-optimised ToF sensor
The IRS2381C is a model within the REAL3 product family optimised for mobile applications. It features a resolution of 224×172 pixels (38K pixels) at a wavelength of 940 nm and is supplied as a bare die.
