DK-V7-VC709-G-J Product Overview

Xilinx’s DK-V7-VC709-G-J is a Virtex®-7 FPGA VC709 Interconnect Kit (Japan-Exclusive Edition). This Virtex®-7 FPGA VC709 Interconnect Kit is a 40Gb/s platform designed for high-bandwidth, high-performance applications. It includes all necessary hardware, tools, and IP to help users quickly evaluate and develop interconnect systems. The kit includes a 40Gb/s reference design that supports PCI Express Gen 3, DMA IP cores from Northwest Logic, 10GBase-R, AXI, and a virtual FIFO memory controller for connecting to external DDR3 memory. To control and monitor the design, the kit includes a graphical user interface (GUI) built on the Fedora Live OS, which contains all necessary software drivers. Additionally, the kit includes two fiber optic cables and four transceiver modules used in the design.
