I. General-Purpose SWIR Image Sensors (IMX990/IMX991)
The IMX990/IMX991 utilises Sony’s proprietary SenSWIR™ technology to achieve pixel miniaturisation that was previously difficult to realise, enabling higher pixel counts and smaller sensor sizes. At the same time, they can capture images across multiple spectral bands ranging from visible light to short-wavelength infrared (SWIR). Furthermore, they support digital output and are equipped with features suitable for industrial cameras, such as global shutter and trigger modes.
