Motorcomm YT8522 Product Description

The YT8522 is a low power single port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PHY.

 

The YT8522 provides all the physical layer functionality required to send and receive data over a standard twisted pair transceiver or fibre optic PECL interface to an external 100Base-FX optical transceiver module. In addition, the YT8522 provides flexible connectivity to MACs via standard MII and RMII interfaces.

 

The YT8522 employs mixed-signal processing for equalisation, data recovery and error correction for robust operation over CAT5 twisted pair or 100Base-FX optical transceiver modules.
