Technical Summary
The CR636A / CR636 regulates the output voltage of a 14V alternator to a constant value.
The regulator continuously senses the alternator output voltage, speed, temperature, and excitation current. It regulates the excitation current to keep the output voltage constant. The output voltage can be adjusted to any value within the established range by means of a PWM command.
