DRV8305NPHPR is a gate driver integrated circuit (IC) designed for three-phase motor drive applications. The DRV8305NPHPR provides three high-precision, temperature-compensated half-bridge drivers, each capable of driving a high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFET.
The charge pump drivers support low-voltage operation at 100% duty cycle. The DRV8305NPHPR can also handle load dump pulses up to 45V.
The DRV8305NPHPR gate driver employs automatic handshaking during switching to prevent current breakdown. It precisely senses the VDS of both high-side and low-side MOSFETs to protect external MOSFETs during overcurrent conditions.
