ISO7721QDRQ1 is a high-performance dual-channel digital isolator providing a 3000VRMS isolation rating (D-package) compliant with UL 1577 standards. The ISO7721QDRQ1 features enhanced insulation ratings compliant with VDE, CSA, TUV, and CQC standards.
While isolating complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) or low-voltage complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (LVCMOS) digital I/O, the ISO7721QDRQ1 delivers high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions alongside low power consumption. The logic input and output buffers for each isolated channel are separated by a double-capacitance silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulated gate.
ISO7721QDRQ1 features two reverse channels. In the event of input power or signal loss, devices without the suffix “F” default to a high output level, while those with the suffix “F” default to a low output level.
When employed with an isolated power supply, the ISO7721QDRQ1 helps prevent damage to sensitive circuits from data buses such as CAN and LIN. Through innovative chip design and routing techniques, the ISO7721QDRQ1 exhibits significantly enhanced electromagnetic compatibility, mitigating system-level ESD, EFT, and surge issues while meeting radiated standards.
