Product Brief

Qorvo's QPM5811SR is a GaAs MMIC front-end module (FEM) designed for X-band radar applications in the 8.5 - 10.5 GHz range. the MMIC combines a T/R switch, a low-noise amplifier, and a power amplifier. The receive path has a gain of 26 dB with a noise figure as low as 2.0 dB, while the transmit path has a small-signal gain of 30 dB and delivers 0.5 W of saturation power with 45% PAE and a large-signal gain of 23.5 dB. The QPM5811 is available in a 6 x 6 mm QFN surface-mount package and overmolded packagings, and employs a high-thermal-conductivity chip-on-chip process that provides excellent performance in high-temperature environments. The QPM5811 is available in a 6 x 6 mm QFN surface mount package with overmolded encapsulant and a high thermal conductivity die attach process, resulting in excellent performance in high temperature environments. Its compact size allows for the tight lattice spacing required for X-band phased array radar applications.
