Overview: The QCC3086 is a single-chip Bluetooth audio SoC platform designed to enable rich functionality in a USB dongle form factor, bringing the Snapdragon Sound™ technology suite to any source device. This solution broadens our Qualcomm S3 Gen 2 sound platform portfolio to provide Bluetooth 5.4 compliant dual-mode devices that leverage classic Bluetooth and LE audio, as well as Snapdragon Sound features for source devices.

The QCC3086 combines Snapdragon Sound and LE Audio to deliver ultra-low latency of less than 20 milliseconds, enabling latency-free wireless audio and providing a voice back channel for gaming chat. Latency is further reduced when only gaming audio is provided, and the QCC3086 also brings Snapdragon Sound support through Qualcomm® aptX™ Adaptive and aptX Voice, designed to enable music streaming up to 24bit 96kHz and ultra-wideband voice hands-free calling.

In addition, OEMs can use the platform to add Auracast™ broadcast audio capabilities to dongles and adapters for use with source devices such as mobile phones, laptops, TVs, and a wide range of other audio devices.Designed for the emerging Bluetooth® LE audio standard, the QCC3086 supports both Auracast™ broadcast audio and LE audio unicast (for music and voice).
