EG25GGB-MINIPCIE-S Overview

EG25-G Mini PCIe is Quectel's LTE Cat 4 wireless communication module designed for M2M and IoT domains, using PCI Express® Mini Card standard interface. It meets the needs of cost-effective, low-power applications and supports a maximum downlink rate of 150 Mbps and a maximum uplink rate of 50 Mbps.

The EG25-G Mini PCIe is backward compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring that it will work in remote areas where 3G and 4G networks are not available.

Based on Qualcomm's advanced IZat™ positioning technology (Gen8C Lite), the EG25-G Mini PCIe integrates a multi-constellation GNSS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo and QZSS positioning technologies for faster, more accurate and reliable positioning. The built-in GNSS also greatly simplifies the design of customer applications.

The EG21-G Mini PCIe has a rich set of built-in network protocols, integrates multiple industry-standard interfaces, and supports a variety of drivers and software functions (e.g., USB virtual serial port drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux, Android and other operating systems, etc.); this greatly expands the scope of its applications in the M2M and IoT fields, such as smart meter reading, asset tracking, fleet management, and smart data transmission.
