Mingjiada Electronics introduces the ISL9122AIIHZ a flexible boost switching regulator with bypass mode support that provides ultra-low quiescent current (IQ) for powering sensors, microcontrollers (MCUs), wireless devices and other system components.
The ISL9122A boost switching regulator has an I2C interface and programmable 25mV steps for dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) to optimise system power consumption. The regulator has a maximum output voltage of 5.375V to maximise the performance of RF-enabled IoT devices over the full battery voltage range. Its PFM and PWM functions maximise efficiency over the entire output current range. In forced PWM mode, the regulator maintains a switching frequency of 2.5MHz to improve system EMI performance.
