Mingjiada Electronics in Stock — Sony IMX264MZR / IMX264MYR: Industrial-Grade Polarized CMOS Image Sensors
In the fields of machine vision, industrial inspection, and scientific imaging, capturing additional dimensions of information beyond traditional “luminance + color” has become the key to overcoming inspection bottlenecks. The Sony IMX264MZR (monochrome polarized) and IMX264MYR (color polarized) image sensors, with their on-chip polarization technology and global shutter capabilities, are redefining the boundaries of what is possible in complex scenarios such as defect detection, material stress analysis, and transparent object recognition.
Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics offers a large stock of brand-new, genuine IMX264MZR and IMX264MYR sensors, providing customers with core components for high-performance vision solutions.
Product Overview
The IMX264MZR and IMX264MYR are innovative CMOS image sensors launched by Sony, integrating Polarsens™ polarization technology based on its proven Pregius global shutter technology platform. Building upon the standard IMX264 5.0MP pixel array, this series covers each photodiode with nanowire polarizing elements, enabling the sensor to “see” the polarization state of light.
This breakthrough design allows it to:
Capture polarization images in four directions—0°, 45°, 90°, and 135°—in a single shot
Eliminate glare and reflection interference
Detect internal stresses and surface defects in materials
Identify the contours and deformations of transparent objects
The primary difference between the two models lies in their spectral response:
IMX264MZR: Monochrome (Mono) + Polarization, suitable for high-precision analysis of luminance and polarization information
IMX264MYR: Color + Polarization, suitable for scenarios requiring both color and polarization information
