The ADSP-SC573 processor is based on dual SHARC+ and ARM® Cortex-A5™ cores. The ADSP-SC573 SHARC processor belongs to the SIMD SHARC series of DSPs, utilising ADI's Super Harvard architecture. These 32/40/64-bit floating-point processors are optimised for high-performance audio/floating-point applications, featuring large on-chip SRAM, multiple internal buses to eliminate I/O bottlenecks, and an innovative Digital Audio Interface (DAI). The latest enhancements to the SHARC+ core incorporate cache enhancements, branch prediction, and other instruction set improvements, while maintaining instruction set compatibility with previous SHARC products. The ADZS-SC573-EZLITE includes all necessary hardware to enable immediate start-up and evaluation.
