The CT4022 in SOIC-8 packaging and the CT4032 in SOICW-16 packaging are 500kHz ultra-low-noise TMR current sensors. Compared to traditional Hall-effect sensors, the CT4022 achieves a 15-fold reduction in integrated noise levels.

These TMR sensors employ differential-mode packaging to suppress common-mode fields and eliminate stray magnetic fields. Both packages feature primary conductor resistances of 1 mΩ, enabling the sensors to withstand high surge currents while minimising power dissipation. Current applied to the primary conductor pins generates an internal differential magnetic field. The TMR sensor provides a voltage proportional to this differential field while suppressing common-mode stray magnetic fields.
