The EVAL-LTC7890-BZ is a high-performance dual-channel synchronous buck DC/DC converter evaluation kit from Analog Devices (ADI), specifically designed to demonstrate the LTC7890 low quiescent current, high-frequency synchronous controller. This evaluation board operates stably across a wide input voltage range of 16V to 72V, generating two independent outputs: 5V and 12V, each supporting up to 10A output current. The evaluation board comes pre-populated with 100V logic-level Si FETs, configured with current sense resistors, and supports switching between three operating modes: forced continuous mode, pulse skip mode, and Burst Mode®. The LTC7890 controller is housed in a 40-pin (6mm × 6mm) side-wettable QFN package, integrating a dedicated GaN FET driver circuit while also efficiently driving logic-level silicon FETs.
