The TPS7B86-Q1 40V adjustable low dropout regulator is designed for connection to batteries in automotive applications.The TPS7B86-Q1 has an extended input voltage range of up to 40V, so the device can withstand transient variations (such as load dips) that are expected to occur in automotive systems.

The TI TPS7B86-Q1 adjustable LDO regulator is ideally suited for powering normally-open components such as microcontrollers (MCUs) and controller local area network (CAN) transceivers in standby systems, with a quiescent current of only 17µA at light loads.
