The devices are available in RoHS-compliant 24-ball FBGA packages, with an operating voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V, and support data throughputs of up to 54MBps. Compared to traditional EEPROM and Flash memories, F-RAM has nanosecond write speeds and does not require waiting for an erase cycle, enabling true ‘on-the-fly’ storage.
In automotive electronics applications, EXCELON F-RAM is perfect for Event Data Recording (EDR) systems.
