The FL-L NOR Flash memory family uses 65nm process lithography and floating gate technology.The FL-L family connects to the host system via a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).The FL-L family supports traditional SPI units (single I/O or SIO) as well as optional 2-bit (dual I/O or DIO). It also supports 4-bit wide Quad I/O (QIO) and Quad Peripheral Interface (QPI) commands.

The FL-L series uses double data rate (DDR) read commands for address transfer and QIO and QPI for reading data on both sides of the clock. the architecture uses a page programming buffer that allows programming up to 256 bytes in a single operation. The architecture is also available in individual 4KB sectors, 32KB half blocks, 64KB blocks, or full chip erase.FL-L NOR Flash offers the high density, flexibility, and fast performance used in a variety of mobile or embedded applications.

The flash provides an excellent storage solution for limited space, signal connections and power systems. In addition, the flash is ideal for code masking for RAM, direct code execution (XIP) and storing reprogrammable data.
