Supply PMIC TPS650942A0RSKR Programmable Power Management IC For Apollo Lake Processors
Product Description
The TPS650942A0RSKR device is a single-chip solution power management integrated chip (PMIC) designed for the latest Intel™ processors powered by tablets, ultrabooks, notebooks, industrial computers, and Internet of Things (IOT) applications powered by 2, 3, or 4-cell lithium-ion battery packs in either NVDC or non-NVDC power architectures. applications, as well as wall-powered applications.
The TPS650942A0RSKR devices are designed to consolidate essential systems with low voltage rails for the smallest size and lowest cost system power solutions. the TPS65094 devices provide a complete power solution based on the Intel reference design. Power-up sequence logic controls six high-efficiency buck regulators (VRs), a potting/pulling LDO (VTT), and a load switch to provide the correct power rails, sequencing, and protection-including DDR3 and DDR4 memory power supplies. Two regulators (BUCK1 and BUCK2) support dynamic voltage regulation (DVS) to maximise efficiency (including support for networked standby functionality). The high-frequency VR uses small inductors and capacitors to reduce solution size. The I2C interface makes it easy to implement control functions via an embedded controller (EC) or system-on-chip (SoC).
The PMIC is available in an 8mm × 8mm single-line VQFN package with heat sink pads, resulting in good heat dissipation and simple board routing.
