RT6543AGQW Device Overview

The RT6543A/B PWM controllers offer high efficiency, excellent transient response, and high DC output accuracy to step down high-voltage batteries to produce low-voltage CPU cores, I/O, and chipset RAM. The RT6543A/B supports on-chip voltage programming from 0V to 1.8V by controlling the VID1/VID0 inputs.

Compared to conventional current-mode PWM, the RT6543A/B achieves high efficiency without any current-sense resistor. In addition, the RT6543A/B can drive synchronous rectifier MOSFETs and enter diode emulation mode under light load conditions, resulting in significant power savings. In addition, the RT6543A/B features UVLO, OVP, UVP, OTP and current limit protection. All these features are integrated in the WQFN-20L-3x3 package.
