The MSPM0C series is TI’s entry-level general-purpose microcontroller built on the Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core. Designed for high cost-effectiveness and low power consumption, it is the preferred solution for cost-sensitive applications. The series features a core frequency of up to 24 MHz, with 1 KB to 16 KB of flash memory and 1 KB of SRAM to meet basic data storage and processing requirements. It also integrates a 12-bit SAR ADC with up to 10 external channels, offering a sampling rate of up to 1.7 Msps (10-bit) or 1.5 Msps (12-bit). Combined with a configurable internal voltage reference and an integrated temperature sensor, it enables precise environmental data acquisition and monitoring.

In terms of peripherals and interfaces, the MSPM0C series features one UART interface supporting various protocols such as LIN and IrDA, one high-speed I²C interface, and one SPI interface with a maximum speed of 12 Mbps. It also includes a dedicated single-channel DMA controller for the ADC and multiple timers, supporting up to 14 PWM channels, making it suitable for applications such as simple motor control and lighting adjustment. The series operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and a wide supply voltage range of 1.62V to 3.6V. This series offers a more extensive memory configuration, with flash memory expandable up to 128KB and SRAM capacity of up to 32KB. Both are equipped with ECC error correction to ensure the integrity and reliability of data storage. In terms of analogue peripherals, the MSPM0G series integrates two 12-bit ADCs, a 12-bit DAC, operational amplifiers and high-speed comparators, offering robust signal acquisition and processing capabilities. Regarding digital peripherals, it supports CAN-FD communication and is equipped with a 7-channel DMA controller and a maths accelerator, meeting the demands of complex applications such as motor control and industrial monitoring.

Equipped with a 4KB instruction cache, it achieves zero-wait-state execution, enabling efficient processing of complex algorithms and floating-point operations, making it suitable for mid-to-high-end embedded applications.

The series excels in terms of memory and security, with flash memory capacity of up to 1MB, 256KB of SRAM, and an additional 32KB of high-endurance data flash; all memory includes built-in ECC error correction. It also integrates comprehensive security features, including a Root of Trust (ROT), AES256/SHA256 hardware acceleration, a public key accelerator and a true random number generator, enabling functions such as secure boot and key configuration to safeguard device data security.

In terms of peripheral configuration, the MSPM33C series integrates two 9.4-MSPS 12-bit synchronous-sampling ADCs, two high-speed comparators and two 8-bit DACs. It supports four SPI (QSPI) channels, dual CAN interfaces, multiple UART/I2C/SPI interfaces and a digital audio interface. It also features two DMA controllers and nine timers, supporting up to 30 PWM channels, making it suitable for applications with high performance and security requirements, such as industrial control, automotive electronics and high-end medical equipment.
