LMK1D1208IRHAR Device Description
The device features two inputs and eight pairs of differential LVDS clock outputs (OUT0 to OUT7) with ultra-small latency for clock distribution. The inputs can be LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, HCSL, or CML.
The LMK1D1208I is designed to drive 50Ω transmission lines. When driving the inputs in single-ended mode, the appropriate bias voltage is applied to the unused negative input pin.
I 2C programming enables the device to be configured as either a single buffer bank (one of the two inputs assigned to eight output pairs) or a double buffer bank (each input assigned to four output pairs). Each output can be configured to have a standard (350mV) or enhanced (500mV) swing. The device also integrates enable/disable of individual output channels through I 2C programming.The LMK1D1208I has a fail-safe input that prevents the outputs from oscillating in the absence of an input signal and allows an input signal to be supplied before the VDD is available.
The device can operate from a 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V supply and features a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C (ambient).
