Descriptions Of UCC27201ADRMR

The UCC27201ADRMR is a high-frequency N-channel MOSFET driver consisting of a 120V bootstrap diode and high-side/low-side drivers with independent inputs for greater control flexibility. This enables N-channel MOSFET control in half-bridge converters, full-bridge converters, dual-switch forward converters, and active clamp forward converters. The low-side and high-side gate drivers are independently controlled and matched with a 1ns delay between turn-on and turn-off of each other. The UCC27201ADRMR has an enhanced ESD input structure and its HS pin is capable of withstanding voltages of up to -18V, which results in improved performance in noisy power environments.

The integration of a bootstrap diode on the chip eliminates the need for an external discrete diode. Both the high-side and low-side drivers are equipped with an undervoltage lockout feature that forces the outputs low if the drive voltage falls below a defined threshold.
