AFE7700IABJ Device Description

The AFE7700IABJ device is a high performance multi-channel transceiver that integrates four direct upconversion transmitter chains, four direct downconversion receiver chains, and two wideband RF sample digitisation auxiliary chains (feedback paths). The high dynamic range of the transmitter and receiver chains enables high-performance wireless transceiver systems.

The AFE7700IABJ's low power dissipation and large-scale channel integration enable the device to overcome the power and size limitations of multi-antenna and phased array systems. Wideband and high dynamic range feedback paths enable digital pre-distortion (DPD) for power amplifiers and IQ correction in the transmitter chain. The high speed of the serialiser/deserialiser reduces the number of channels required for incoming and outgoing data.

• JESD204B and JESD204C serialiser/deserialiser interface support:
• 8 serialiser/deserialiser transceivers up to 29.5Gbps
• 8b/10b and 64b/66b encoding
• 16-bit, 12-bit, 24-bit, and 32-bit formats
• Subclass 1 Multi-Device Synchronisation
