Functional Description

The SARA-R4 series modules are a multi-band LTE-M / NB-IoT / EGPRS multimode solution in a miniature SARA LGA form factor (26.0 x 16.0 mm, 96 pins). These modules can be easily integrated into compact designs and are seamlessly portable from other u-blox cellular module families.

The SARA-R4 series modules offer software-based multi-band configurability, enabling international multi-area coverage for LTE-M / NB-IoT and (E)GPRS wireless access technologies.

The SARA-R4 series modules provide data communications over an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, low power consumption, and extended coverage deep into buildings and basements (and underground when using NB-IoT).
