LT8228IFE 100V Synchronous Switching Controller with Bidirectional Buck-Boost in TSSOP-38 Package

The LT8228IFE is a 100V bidirectional synchronous buck-boost switch controller housed in a compact TSSOP-38 surface-mount package with a heat sink pad, designed for high-voltage battery and joint servo bidirectional energy management applications in humanoid robots.

It supports a wide input and output voltage range of 6-100V and allows for automatic or externally controlled bidirectional power flow, catering to both motor drive power supply and braking energy recovery. It offers high-precision voltage regulation of ±1% across the full temperature range, with a programmable synchronous switching frequency of 80kHz-600kHz, which helps suppress EMI interference in multi-joint power supplies.

Integrated comprehensive protection against negative voltage, reverse current, surges, MOSFET short circuits and output short circuits, combined with fault diagnosis reporting, masterless fault-tolerant parallel current sharing and independent buck-boost compensation networks, ensuring excellent transient response. Stable operation across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, suitable for multi-joint, multi-channel high-power power supply applications in humanoid robots and integrated battery charge/discharge power supply architectures, offering high reliability and a compact footprint.
