VNL5160S5TR Integrated Circuit Chip N-Channel 3.5A Low-Side Driver with 36V Max Fully Protected

The VNL5160S5TR is a monolithic device manufactured using VIPower® Technology, designed for driving resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to the battery. It features built-in thermal shutdown protection against overtemperature and short circuits, along with output current limitation for overload conditions. During prolonged overloads, the device limits dissipated power to safe levels until thermal shutdown activates. Automatic restart capability ensures normal operation resumes when fault conditions disappear. The chip also provides fast demagnetization of inductive loads during turn-off.
