Product Description
The LTC4380HMS-4 low quiescent current surge stopper protects loads from high voltage transients. It provides overvoltage protection by clamping the gate voltage of an external N-channel MOSFET to limit output voltage during overvoltage events like automotive load dumps. Fixed gate clamp voltages are selectable for 12V and 24V/28V systems, with adjustable versions available for systems up to 72V. The device also includes overcurrent protection.
