The LT1172HVIQ is a monolithic high-power switching regulator. It can be operated in all standard switching configurations including buck, boost, flyback, forward, inverting, and "Cuk." The chip includes a high-current, high-efficiency switch on the die along with all oscillator, control, and protection circuitry.
