AD5371BSTZ 40-Channel 14-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 80-Lead LQFP

The AD5371BSTZ is a 40-channel, 14-bit, serial input, voltage output digital-to-analog converter for high density analogue output systems. Each channel carries a programmable gain and offset adjust register and is guaranteed monotonic to 14 bits, so channel-to-channel errors can be removed in system.

The device operates with VSS from -16.5 V to -4.5 V and VDD from 9 V to 16.5 V, producing a nominal output span of -4 V to +8 V and up to four times the reference voltage. Output amplifiers require 1.4 V headroom at 1 mA, and a thermal shutdown circuit protects the output stage.

A high speed serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP standards handles clocks up to 50 MHz, with an additional 100 MHz LVDS serial interface. All DAC registers can be updated simultaneously through the LDAC input. The AD5371BSTZ is supplied in an 80-lead LQFP measuring 12 mm x 12 mm x 1.4 mm.

Because AD5371 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5371 variants without rewriting firmware.
