AD5373BCPZ 32-Channel 14-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 64-Lead LFCSP

The AD5373BCPZ is a 32-channel, 14-bit, serial input, voltage output digital-to-analog converter that shares the architecture of the 16-bit AD5372 while providing 14-bit resolution. Each channel is guaranteed monotonic and includes gain and offset adjustment registers so that system errors can be trimmed channel by channel.

Outputs are buffered on chip and referenced to external SIGGND inputs, with a nominal span of -4 V to +8 V and a maximum of four times the reference voltage. Supply rails span -16.5 V to -4.5 V on VSS and 9 V to 16.5 V on VDD, and the output amplifiers need 1.4 V headroom at 1 mA.

The serial interface is compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP standards and runs at up to 50 MHz, with simultaneous update of all outputs through LDAC. Packaged in a 64-lead LFCSP with exposed pad, the AD5373BCPZ targets ATE and industrial systems where 14 bits are sufficient and cost and board space matter.

The AD5373 family covers several resolution, reference and package options. Because AD5373 devices are pin and software compatible within each package group, a design can move between AD5373 variants without rewriting firmware.
