AD5601BCPZ 8-Bit Voltage Output DAC Integrated Circuit Chip 6-Lead LFCSP

The AD5601BCPZ is an 8-bit, buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter that operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and draws less than 100 uA. The on-chip output amplifier swings rail to rail with a typical slew rate of 0.5 V/us, so the device can drive level-setting nodes directly.

The reference is derived from the power supply, which removes external reference components, and the B version is specified at plus or minus 0.5 LSB integral nonlinearity. A power-on reset circuit brings the output to 0 V with brownout detection, and a power-down mode reduces current to typically 0.2 uA at 3 V.

Data is written over a low power serial interface with Schmitt-triggered inputs that supports clock speeds up to 30 MHz and powers up only during a write cycle. Supplied in a 6-lead LFCSP (also available in a 6-lead SC70), the AD5601BCPZ suits bias and control voltage generation in space-constrained, power-sensitive products.
